While a free and painless return is definitely an option, getting the wrong product at an advertised sale price is still getting stiffed in my book. Will Woot and by extension Amazon make good on the return? Yes. Will the purchaser get what was promised to begin with? Not likely. Not a complaint but a statement of fact.Nobody got stiffed. They will use the free and painless Amazon return process and get all their money back.
The problem I have is that Woot was contacted with the first error, (then several more) and not once did they pull the advertisement to verify the products were accurately reflected. Just shows poor planning and execution on their part.
And if anyone had really wanted to get a Tazer JL Lite to begin with, I doubt they would have wanted to pay $10 more for it.
