On Saturday, an error message "Rear right blinker bulb burned out" was displayed, and the blinker sound and blinking inside the car became strange only on the right side. I looked at the blinkers and brakes in the outside mirror, but there were no bulbs burned out and the timing of the blinking was normal. I erased it with a tether, but the error message (B1646-15) returned immediately, so I went to the dealer on Monday to have them take a look. The error still appeared when I moved and attached the tail of the demo car, so I knew that the tail was not the problem. The dealer's opinion was that the BCM or the wiring was probably the problem because the wiring was in the order BCM → wiring → tail, but since the BCM was new when the car was delivered, I came to the conclusion that the wiring was the most likely problem. I removed the tether to have the dealer take a look, and when I reinstalled it, the rear right blinker bulb burned out (B1646-15) disappeared, and errors U0618 and U1514-87 were displayed. At the moment, I'm thinking that the tether might be the problem. If anyone has experienced similar symptoms, please help me.

Did you upgrade to LED bulbs at all? You can also try this

I’m confused… (doesn’t take much). Are you referring to the TAZER Mini?

I didn’t see you reference the TAZER at all in your post.

“tether might be the problem” = tazer might be the problem

Sorry. I'm not good at Japanese, so I'm using the translation function to post. I installed the Tazer a month ago and no error codes were displayed. Suddenly, an error message appeared for the right tail light. All lights are genuine.

The tail light error disappeared. After reconnecting the Tazer, the tail light error disappeared, but the U0168 and U1514-87 errors remained.

Installing a Tazer requires very specific & detailed processes (of which the owners manual is very poor at explaining)…. If those processes aren’t done properly, you can and will have all sorts of weird issues.

Not only that…but when you take your truck to the dealership, you want to completely REMOVE the Tazer (again, a specific process in doing that) or else it could damage the Tazer and/or something on the truck.

There are lots of videos online - of which, I always have to refresh my memory.
To Remove it, this is what I do: UNmarry..…Reboot… sleep cycles. Remove. Get updates. Install. Marry, Reboot, Sleep cycles.

I would highly recommend removing the Tazer (using the proper process) and leave it off to see if your codes & issues still exist.

My apologies If I’m not understanding what you’re asking……

My procedure is: when removing, unmarry → full reboot → sleep cycle → full reboot → sleep cycle. When installing, marry → full reboot → sleep cycle → full reboot → sleep cycle. I did the sleep cycle twice.

The U0168 error disappeared, and the B1646-15 error reappeared. The taillights are working fine. I live in a snowy country, so maybe the snow has melted and frozen, causing the problem. I had the Tazer on all the time, and suddenly the right taillight blinker error started.

It is not two reboots. Just one and two sleep cycles back to back.

After making all of your changes, scroll to “full reboot?” and select it.
Wait for the countdown, then perform two sleep cycles.
The quickest way to do two sleep cycles is to turn the ignition off, open and
close the driver’s door and wait about 60 seconds AFTER the dash goes dark,
then turn the ignition on (but not the engine) and repeat once more.
This step is critical after changing settings or settings might not save, or you
may find that the dash doesn’t shut down, which can result in a dead battery.

I see. Thank you. I'm anxious because of frequent errors.

You need to remove the Tazer completely….…. before doing any sort of troubleshooting.
