First of all thank you for your service and second of all so you were stationed at Fort Hood I was down there quite a few years ago and if you could get on the tank trails you’ll find plenty of mud ! LOL
I'm fighting like hell to stay here. I have been here just under 2 years and I'm supposed to go to Wisconsin next month Just threw a hailmary to stay put

I spent 3 days going on maneuvers with the 2nd Armor division . My late freind knew the Colonel that was In charge and invited us to come on down and have some fun . Man was it fun nothing but mud and Abrams good times !

I'm currently BDE staff in an Armored Brigade. It seems like we are always out in the field. Not being an armor guy it is cool to watch though

Been a few years since I was at hood, I used to carry a fishing pole in the Jeep at all times and registerd to fish on post so I could wheel from pond to pond

I think you will find that it tows great, or at least that has been my experience ! Towed this '49 to my brothers in central Florida in Feb., the truck had a little over 3000 miles on it when I left. Towed like a dream, MPG sucked, but that was to be expected.

I'm exxpecting it'll tow fine, but the trailer I'll be towing will top 6000# so getting awfully close to max capacity. Should be interesting. Loving the truck so far!!

I recently just got my JT sport, have not added any mods yet, but still planning on some as I learn from everybody, and get some ideas. I plan on using my gladiator for some camping and fishing trips.

Tolar, Tx somewhere between the Dallas snobs and Liberal freakos of Austin ( both geographically and philosophically)
Any other thumbs up on Texas dealers, other than MH Georgtown. Still shopping and have come across no fewer than 4 "price typos". Thanks for any help.

Texas Native. Originally West Texas (Odessa) been in Liberal Freako/Fruitcake Austin for past decade now. Great, welcoming Jeep community here. Rescued my Granite Metallic, Sport S, Max Tow yesterday. Couldn't be happier. Look forward to getting some pics after getting some work in. Best I have from yesterday.

Just moved to Austin, haven't even moved into our house yet. I'll be here for at least a year, hopefully three or so. I picked up my Gladiator from Mac Haik a month ago, drove it back to Arizona (where I lived before I moved here) drove it all around trails in Arizona, and then used it to haul a motorcycle and a U-Haul full of stuff out here last week. Looking forward to getting out to Hidden Falls though I don't know how it will compare with the scenery and awesome trails we had in AZ.
