Well it is a five speed stick but not the power stroke. They changed late 94 and mine is the International IFI, But I still love it and selling your truck was bullshit! That would be more than a deal breaker!

You should do what you want to do. Your posting suggests you want to be talked out of the decision to leave the JT.
OK, first of all, we don't love, nor should we love, material things. We are more than stuff.
Having said that, keep the gladiator. This looks like a "Grass is greener on the other side of the hill" thing. That is a hollow/empty dream. Keep the JT because you already have it sorted the way you want it. Install a 5.7 Hemi to fix the lack-of-power issue. With the money you will lose, you can pay for some of the V8 swap.
Jeep ownership is much more and deeper than owning the latest thing to come out of Detroit. Our community has depth, history, and a worldwide following. Ford raptor, what's that? (Something someone will say in 15 years).
You will lose a bunch of money trading or selling the JT. You will pay extra for a Raptor that will immediately evaporate the second you sign the contract. You will not have completely enjoyed everything the JT is capable of.
Don't like the ride? Stop watching the view and buy some good man pants. Not trying to insult at all here, but seriously, we're men, right? We like bumpy/rough rides. Those who don't need to buy a pedicure, get their eyebrows styled, or whatever else girly men do. (The ride is not the problem). Again, not intending to insult, but some of the youth are just too girly and need a stiff slap in the face to wake them back up.
The JT is about the best Jeep has ever produced. Stick a loud V8 in it and keep it for 20 years.
Again, please do not take it personally; I just tire of hearing men complain of piss-ant things.

I'm not sure that everyone has $33K to liquify for a motor swap.

Now. I did find one or two places with possible financing options while I was looking....

I can say though, I'm definitely a girly bitch because having a nice riding truck with all the bells and whistles with no risk of the roof leaking sounds nice.

The JT is a great Jeep, though. I agree.

If you like something else better, go for it. It's not like Jeep pays you to be loyal, they don't care.

IDK, I like the GM trucks but GMC is really no more than a fancy trimmed Chebby. Then again, I'm an outlier in my family: Dad has a Sierra Denali, both sisters have AT4 Yukons and my brother in law has a Sierra HD Diesel.

Hey I had a 94 F350 DRW for a while! Loved that truck but it was 2WD and the transmission started giving me all kinds of fits. Had the Banks turbo adjuster kit in it. Super fun to drive though and had power for days!! I’d also agree with you on the IDI. 6BT beats it by a little but that IDI was a solid engine. No idea if they’re still making them but I wouldn’t kick one outta bed for eating crackers.

I've owned a fair amount of cars in my life, including real pick-up trucks (not overbuilt cars with beds). I keep coming back to Jeep. LOVE the capabilities that I get to use because they fit my lifestyle very well, especially the new JTs.

But the one thing I really like is the fact that my Jeeps are distinctive. I can pass 40 GM, Fords and Rams in a parking lot and never notice any of them, mostly I can't see the differences between them. But you can't miss a Jeep.

And my love for Jeeps is not unique to me. It's funny when I park somewhere and just sit in my Gladiator just about every guy (and a lot of females) that walks by give it a good long look. That didn't happen with many of my other cars except my old Super-Duty with the turbo diesel. When I parked with the big beast and kept it idling no one could miss it... It's kind'a cool.
