On another forum, a person who I believe works for a dealership said they are sending these to the dealerships anyhow and the dealerships are having them repaired. Apparently the storm got some Wranglers too.

I just opened a case to look into this and get the real truth.
Someone on the other thread made a good point. This hail could be the reason why Jeep is forcing the bedliner on so many of the trucks in order.

How long has the bedliner been required now? It’s on sting gray but those order started last week so none are built yet, right? Unless they have unpainted or pre painted beds sitting outside somewhere.

Here's what I hope it really means.
As you probably know, there is some known quality issues that are very common with the JT already on the issues section. Main issue is the fender liner gets sucked into the wheel well at speeds and gets chewed up. Especially an issue during windy days. It turns out the liner material is far too thin for the application and is also not fastened to anything. Another issue that has come up with some members is that the driver foot well gets really hot and adequate heat shielding may not be in place to prevent this. Both minor and easy to fix issues.

My hope is that those of us in JS status are getting this addressed before it gets shipped. In a way I'm happy that FCA is doing an additional quality inspection on the vehicle. In another way I just want my truck already!.

Keep me posted on your status updates please @Steve97ag @bustercat23 and @Bruhast .
Hey @trez63 I just checked and I'm in KZ now.

Ouch. That sucks. You gotta ask them to escalate.
They gave me the it's not technically past schedule until 5 days. I sent the dealer an email today. We shall see.

You can always request that they open a case. I have one open now to ensure that my car is not a hail damage car. I'm going to save that chat as evidence in case they lie to me about it.

Still no window sticker for me yet. Has anyone made it out of JS recently?

I’m betting mine and your were parked right next to each other in that hail storm. Still in JS with no sticker.
