I don't recall seeing the ducks prior to the pandemic, but I wasn't looking for them either. I've always thought it was mostly a girl Jeeper/Wrangler thing, but maybe I've been incorrect in that assumption.

I've been ducked one time. That was just days after I put new AT tires (factory wheels) on my four year old stock Overland.

I finally got ducked for the first time on Sunday... a mere 1,438 days after taking it home!

It only took driving to a large shopping center doorless in the rain for someone to take pity on me.

I got my first duck back in the summer of '22. I had towed my camper to Chincoteague, VA to go camping. I have a '20 Overland (ordered 5/19, built 6/19, delivered 7/19) as my tow vehicle.

I went walking to go get some things from the campground store and came back to see a duck sitting on my Jeep. The family next door ducked me. They have a Wrangler but a RAM as their tow vehicle. They said they were impressed by the size of trailer I was towing with my Jeep and decided to duck me. I was SOOO Happy to get my first duck.

Now I carry a bunch of ducks in my console to give to others, which I have done a lot. I've also been ducked at least a half dozen times myself. Not bad as my Gladiator is stone stock.

I've seen ducks now in broncos, toyotas, Subaru's...and the list goes on and on. Has completely lost any semblance of being a jeep thing. Stop with the ridiculous ducks, and stick to the wave as it should be!
