As the title states, life's thrown me curve balls so I've been MIA from the forum for a bit but want to ping the great minds on here!

I've got a tri-fold cover which is nice but when I toss the mountain bikes in the back over the tailgate pad, the rear tire pushes into the cover. When I take my kayaks out, I usually have to remove the tri-fold because stacked on top, they won't fit. So, I've been contemplating a rollup cover. Between Bestop and Mopar, I think the Mopar looks better but like the twill-like material for both. It's just hard to justify the price on the Mopar one when Bestop is almost half less. So -- with that, if you have the Mopar what are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Love mine so far. Its only been a couple months with mine but I've been very happy with it. No cons yet.

I bought my JT used, it came with it. No complaints about it. Before buying new check Craigslist and FB Marketplace, but you can find one a lot cheaper. Just make sure it has all the parts.

Check out an access roll-up cover. I've had one on all of my trucks over the years and on my gladiator. Super durable and makes it easy to use the whole truck bed.

The few Mopar ones I've seen while matching the twill don't seem as tight/taut and have a bit of a saggy look I wasn't a fan of.

Love mine, agree with others to check used. Got mine from another member here who was upgrading to a rack/rooftop tent setup. I've had it 2 winters now, no complaints still tight and keeps things dry. Water gets in at a car wash but only in the rear corners.

I like the looks of the Mopar soft cover but from seeing the ones around here in the Florida sun, they all sag after a year or so. After it sags it starts looking like crap but while new it looks great. I stuck with the trifold.

2.5 years in FL with the mopar (assuming this is the one from the factory), so far it's holding up fairly well. I can tell the velcro will eventually deteriorate with the FL sun, and me usually keeping it rolled up.
This is the first cover I've had with a truck, and I'm glad I purchased it from the factory. With this said, I'm not sure I'll replace it when the time comes. I've really only used it when traveling, but I could have gotten by without it. Maybe see if you really 'need' one.

Thanks all -- yeah, the sun here in FL is a killer. Definitely looking on Marketplace, Offerup and the like because spending that coin just for a tonneau isn't on my priority list but I definitely need something for the activities mentioned.

@bleda2002 -- Yup...my concern as well. Sagging kind of turned me off but if I can find one on the cheap, I might give it a whirl.

I love mine. it does everything i want it too and keeps the bed dry. I like that I can get bed cross bars to use with it.

Also in Florida, one of the access covers I had was 6 years old and still looked almost new. They're not cheap but they're still my favorite roll ups

LOVE my cover and it matches the premium soft top perfect. My only complaint is finding a rack (that I like) to work with it.

I have mine almost 4 years now in California and treat it every 6 months with ragtop and it still looks new

Roll up works with my Billy Bars and Rtt, made a great camping trip to Pensacola. Noticed that the roll up now cost more than the soft trifold from the factory…

I got THIS one from Amazon for less than $200. Looks and works great... and if it ever starts looking bad, I could replace it twice for what a MOPAR one costs.
