Right hand drive model, get to about 60 k's and there's a constant thunk thunk thunk noise with the rotation of the wheel from the front left.
Had wheel checked and re-balanced, still same noise. No vibration or shakes of jeep or through steering wheel.

Any ideas?
Cheers.

It's clearly not THAT wheel, but it IS a wheel.

Tire damage? Rubber separation and flopping?

You might see if rotating the tires moves the noise? If not, I would start looking at the wheel bearings or brakes.

After tires are checked, I was thinking brakes too. Had a similar experience on an '04 Accord. Different animal, I know, but that was the culprit for me.

The axle disconnect is on that side, right? Wonder if it might be the issue.

Tires are all in good condition, no issues there.
Will switch the front wheels over today see if the noise changes, haven't put it into 4wd will try that too.

Cheers everyone.

No, FAD is on the passenger side. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not involved...

OP- Does the noise change when 4wd is engaged?
I think you're confused. "Drivers" side is the right side, by his definition of a "right hand drive".

When you say I'm wrong, that the FAD is on the passenger side...isn't that what I wrote? The passenger side of a right hand drive model is the left side.

Sorry, I forgot we were talking about a right-hand drive model.
