Hello Everyone,
I’ll keep this short. Got a brand new rubicon x 3 weeks with zero miles. Had a slight tick from day 1 when it warmed up but nothing crazy, didn't think anything of it. About a week later engine light comes on during a hwy pass and down to 5 cylinder. Took it to the dealer turns out it has a lifter issue and damaged the camshaft. Dealer was great, replaced everything above cyl 2 and the camshaft. Engine works fine now, no issues but the tick is still there…lol
Can’t hear it from the top of the engine only right passenger wheel well or from the bottom. Does this sound normal for a brand new 3.6 or do I need to schedule another visit?
