Now that cold air hit Ohio, my front tires dropped to 29 briefly. Don't want to air up to 37 to turn off warning. I have a Rubicon Launch but have been all over the settings and can't find tire pressure.
I also have a Rubicon Launch Edition and the only way I've been able to do any adjusting with regard to TPMS pressures is by installing a MINI TASER. You can do all kind of thing with that little guy installed.

It is getting colder in Pittsburgh and it’s TPMS warning season. all 4 tires now dropped to 31psi (down from 34 when warmer). but only driver front and passenger rear have warning, other two are fine.

once tires warm up later in the day I am running 34/35 but pressure light stays on for those 2 tires.

Can I reset psi manually in settings or something?

Alert is telling me to air up to 37 psi.

ca
Yeah. I had this this morning

y'all....the tire fill alert settings will NOT get rid of your warning lights. all it does is allow you to set a pressure on the screen (either higher or lower than current pressure) and it will honk the horn and flash the lights when you reach that pressure. The only way to get rid of the warning with a stock setup (no tazer or other electronic control device) is to air the tires up to 37. once you're there, and the alarm goes away, you can air back down to desired pressure. once your tires get 5+ (i think it's five) psi below 37 the alarm is going to go off again.

Jeep Gladiator Tire pressure warning reset?? imag

We are driving and the back right tire keeps dropping. Stopped at the last gas station and checked the pressure and it was the same as the others. That was about 10 min ago and it has dropped another 10 psi according to the screen. What could be going on here?

37 F outside; aftermarket wheels tires that I fill to 62

You've got a defective sensor in the right rear tire.

Holy crap, 62? You broke it with the high pressure! Not really, but that’s crazy. Why are you running such high pressures?

Who the heck suggested sixty-freakin-two?
I can't imagine a tire so tall and SKINNY that you'd inflate to 62. That's over MAX pressure of most tires - pickup tires, small truck tires. Bigger should be LOWER PSI, not higher.
62?
What the heck size are those things? Bicycle tires?

Example - stock Rubicon tires I run at 36 - so wider and taller tires since they have a BIGGER footprint should run LOWER pressure.

Lol 62psi? I'd be afraid they'd explode at that pressure. Ride must be like a washboard. Screen says inflate to 55...something ain't right.

??‍♂ 35 x 12.5 x 20

That’s what they came at and the sidewall says 65 max so I assumed that was correct. They did not seem/ look or ride over or under-inflated to me ... then again I have been driving a performance car with stiff after market springs and struts and low profile tires (for AutoX) for a decade.

I just took them all down to 55.

That’s the Max pressure, at Max load for that particular tire, which your Jeep will probably never see. Are you on stock wheels? If so, 32 psi +/- would be a good place to start on 35s.

Misspoke tire and wheel size when you quoted me. Fixed in original post: 35 x 12.5 x 20 tires

Good eye! A setting has definitely been changed...
I used a Superchips tuner to set the new wheel and tire size. Perhaps that reset the tire pressure number? I didn’t mess with that, I don’t believe. What should it be?

Thanks for making me aware and for the help to correct this.

265/70 17 on my SuperDuty run 75psi. LT load range E tires.
My old standard-duty F250 ran 55.
If I put LT tires on the Gladiator, I'd expect something in the 60psi range.
But for standard car SL-range tires, yeah, you're right.

Stock setting is 37 psi. Most people drop the alert threshold to 30 +/- after going to 35-37” tires. I’m currently using the 25 psi alert threshold, a d run 30 psi.
