Tire size question

Looking for new tires and wheels for 2023 Gladiator Sport with Max Tox. I have pretty much narrowed it down to 2 choices, Cooper Rugged Trek and Nitto Recon Grappler. My main sticking point is what size?? I dont want to lift it. I'm considering 285/70/17 , so about 32.7 inches. I think i may want a little bit taller but not too sure. The Coopers are kinda limited on sizes seems like. But i found a good price on them so i need to decide pretty quick. Guess my biggest question is, Will 285/70/17 fill the fenders pretty well ?

No problem with fitment. Both tires are available to order.

You could even do 285/75R17's without issue.

That's actually the size I was looking at. But I am leaning towards the Cooper Rugged Trek and that size doesn't seem to be available.
Might go with the Nitto just to get that size. And I talked to tire shop earlier that suggested Toyo Open Country AT3 which is also available in that size and it was actually little bit cheaper than both the others

Looking at the pics, I think the 285/70/17 will be fine for me. Possibly the 285/75/17 if I go with Nitto Recon or Toyo AT3.
Any thoughts on these 3 tires? Rugged Trek, Recon or AT3. Pros/cons? Any bad experience with any of them?

No problem with fitment. Both tires are available to order.

Saw the Coopers for a good price on the website. Does Discount Tire ship tires? I'm pretty good distance from any of the stores

Yep, they look like perfect size. I guess I'll forget about the Coopers and go with Nitto or Toyos.

Just keep in mind the load rating and tire weight combo with whatever wheels you mount

Iv’e had the AT3’s on a couple of other trucks and when the original Falkens wear out that is what I’ll be going to. Took a set up to Prudoe Bay and never got a flat on the Haul Road.

Mine are BFG KO2’s got a good deal online at Walmart, but they won’t install them.
