How does it blend in with the black soft top? Looks like you might have the premium...
It's not the same material as the soft top and factory tonneau. I have the premium top. The tonneau is vinyl, but it looks fine and I think it blends well with the truck.

How did it fit?
Fits well, no issues. We had huge storms yesterday and no leaks, so I'm pretty happy with it. Looks like it's a tad narrower than the tacoma version, and I think it may actually be necessary with the trail rail setup due to where you have to install the brackets. If it were much wider I'm not sure they'd work...

How do you modify this to accommodate bed racks like rci or thule? Easy or substantial amount of cutting?

I have the stock mopar tonneau cover on my gladiator. I had just bought a lawn mower in a box slide it into back bed under my tonneau cover, box was about 3/4 of an inch higher than bed rail. It seem ok tonneau was still tight on rail but when I got onto highway at speeds over 60 miles an hour the tonneau buckle in middle and almost rip off of bed. It seem like any kind of gap between truck bed rail and tonneau cover is letting air push up under cover causing cover to buckle. Just a head up!

Alright @mikesjt and you other guys who bought this one....mine showed up today and the clamps don't get even close to tight. What did you do? I noticed that in the clamp bag that it said it was for Tacoma's with the utility rack? Also, any chance you can post a picture of how far back you mounted the front or side rails? I appreciate it GREATLY!! Thanks guys!!

@Racer5112 Here are some pics. Find the right bite onto the bed and cinch er’ up.
It’s a bit fiddly but after 4 months, still snug and no water infiltration.

Those pictures are great, thanks!! Unfortunately mine is wider than yours and overhangs quite a bit more for some reason. What exact one did you get? I noticed on your link there are options for different Tacoma’s. Thanks!

Hey! I just saw the pics that Moab posted. That's the exact way I mounted mine. The clamps are a little finicky, but they will work and will definitely stay tight.

As you know, there aren't a lot of affordable options for tonneau covers for the Gladiator yet. I haven't seen anything under $400. So I ordered this from Amazon and installed yesterday. It doesn't fit "perfect", but fits just fine for what I wanted it for. It's for a 2016-2018 Tacoma. it's a roll up tonneau, which is perfect for my needs. I'm very happy with it! Oh, it was only $139

Does this one work with the utility rails? Do they provide brackets for that with the kit??
