Yeah, I haven't lost any sockets either. I cracked an Icon socket a few years ago, but had it warrantied. I don't close a tool drawer until all of my sockets/wrenches are returned.
Well, I've broken tools before, even tossed warn out stuff, but never lost any. I'm meticulous about my tools. I did leave a watch on a frame rail support. Not sure where it bounced off, but it was just a cheap work watch.
I currently have a 3/4 drive 1&5/16 socket that is busted. Need to get it warranted.

Im always losing tools. Kids, wife, me. Someone is always raiding the tool chest
Yeah, that makes it tough when you've got others who are using it. My wife will occasionally grab a screwdriver or pliers, but she's as OCD as I am about putting tools back.

I'm meticulous about my tools.
I'm also meticulous about my workspace. I like a clean non-cluttered space, good lighting, and everything laid out before I begin a project. At the end of the job, all tools get wiped down and put back into their trays. All batteries go back on their chargers. The floor and workbenches get swept/cleaned.

Ha!! I left a pair of Oakley’s on a tractor tire while pulling electric fence wiring out of the mower deck. Flat out forgot about em until I made the next pass and noticed pieces of very nice tan frames in my path. SWMBO was not impressed.
