I miss my wrangler, so a while back I was looking into a JTR diesel to trade my Titan for. The problems with the diesel had me more than a little concerned especially considering the Titan is bulletproof. The bug bit again and I found a clean, 1 owner 2022 6K mile High Altitude for $47k the Carmax website. They are giving me a good amount for the 2020 titan, so I had them ship the Jeep. Unfortunately the trailer won't be accessible when the Jeep arrives in WI. Couple of questions--Would any of you have issues with this setup? I figured the HA with the street tires might be a better platform to tow with even though it lacks the 4.10 gears. Also, i plan on using a sway bar and a brake controller. The basecamp has an empty weight of 2500lbs, a loaded weight of 3500 lbs and a 410 lb tounge weight. The Gladiator has a payload of 1160lbs and a 6000lb towing capacity. It also has the tow package and the limited slip rear end. I love the idea of getting back into a Jeep, but the titan pulls this thing so well, I'm going to kick myself if I trade it off and find the Jeep not up to the job. The numbers look promising, but numbers have a way of not working out more often than not. I have family in CA and friends in the PNW so the combo will be exposed to grades. Sorry so long, but what do you guys think?

What bleda2002 said.
The HA also has the wider axles, even though it's 3.73 ratio, so it's going to tow at least as well as my Overland does, if not be a tad better due to the width, when towing a trailer like you are talking about.
My 2022 Overland 3.6 gasser with 3.73 gears tows my 5,000 pound car trailer with car just fine.
The HA (High Altitude) is an Overland with other features and wider axles. So you are 1 notch better off than I am (and your payload is 100 pounds better than mine)
Do use a WDH, if you get into grades where the automatic is hunting, shift it manually. Don't try to keep up with every Joe out there - I limit my towing speed to 65 - that's what the speed limit used to be in many states while you were towing but the pressures to remove those limits came from money so most states have quietly removed the limits.

I tow my 5,000 pounds, 65 mph, manually shift if the transmission is hunting too much on our hilly areas (we do have hills, ain't flat around here) and have gotten 13.9 mpg average going from Des Moines to Cordova, IL and back on one trip. That's better than my Silverado did mpg-wise.

You should be fine.

Thanks--i'm hoping the road tires that come on that model will help a little too. There is a plate with a ball that was welded onto the trailer frame for the sway control--right where the weight distribution bars need to go. I was hoping to get away with just using a sway control bar but if I have to go with a WDH, I'll do it. The trailer is at just under 3k when traveling. I completely get that there's going to be a difference between towing with the two trucks--The Nissan has well over 100hp/100ftlbs of torque more than the Gladiator and 1000lbs of weight to go along with it. I just didn't want it to be like night and day when towing......
