I’m towing about a 7000# load with my 2020 JT Rubicon w/ 4.10’s and it needs 5 mph and one higher gear.

Opinions vary wildly based on tire size.

There are a couple people here towing campers with 37’s and 4.88’s that are happy with them. Talking at length with one of them was what ultimately had me go 4.88 over 5.13 with my 37’s.

did you end up going to 4.88's? Im considering the same thing, also for towing purposes. I'm 35's as well. Towing a little over 5,000 lbs, I'm usually in 5th and about 3500 rpm at 65 mph. Would like to see it get to 6th or even 7th and a slightly lower rpm to hold 65.

We have a 22' camper that we tow. I was towing it with 35s and the stock 3.73s. I was getting 8th gear and about 19mpg not towing and I'd actually hit 7th gear and got about 11-13mpg towing. I now have 37s and 4.88s and I still get 8th gear and about 18-19mpg (Depends) not towing and about the same 11-13mpg towing the camper.
