No. That's definitely a 1980 - that was a one year only model with the different bumpers and fender flares.
I've owned two Eagle wagons - one was a special order 1984 wagon, the other was a 1980 Eagle Limited that I got from a guy in PA who was losing the garage he was renting to work on his cars. I sold that one to a guy in OH who did a full restoration including upgrading the engine to Holley EFI. I tossed in brand new power remote mirrors and a couple thousands dollars worth of new old stock parts, extra transmission, extra transfer case, etc.
I need to look him up and see how that project finally ended up.

This is the one I sold because of no time and energy to get to it as a project.
It looks odd because the rear springs had broken leaves and the engine was out so the front sat high.

Cool toys!! I had a Traxxas T-Maxx many years ago with a Scrambler body. I wish I would have kept stuff like that but always seem to give them to the younger family members when I quit playing with them

I love it! You should proceed! I used the Mopar spray touch up paint in factory gobi color. Key is multiple very light coats

Defiantly going too. I will probably get a clear shell and paint the inside. Likely will have the JLU and a JT in 24th and get a 10th scale JT too. Think it will be cool to have them at the camp site this summer!!

Don't own this unfortunately, but check out this lego kit for a Jeep Gladiator. It would be kind of sick to build a replica of your ride to hold your car keys.

Purchased this Mini JT

Painted the fender flares and hard top

If I had some matching white paint for Mini JT I would paint over the "RUBICON" on the hod.

Funny. I have the same model toy, same part number 79368. The difference is on the box, Motor max, Timeless Legends instead of American Legends.
