I'll tell you something else the Gladiator is in DESPERATE need of if you're just looking to develop a new towing product: mirrors! The exterior mirrors on the Gladiator are laughable. There was a guy selling clip-on extensions and I bought those and they helped only marginally. Realistically, if a guy isn't planning to run tight trails in the woods he would be well served by some proper replacement mirrors. The OE mirrors are too close to the body, too small, and have no range of adjustment that's effective for tall guys. They are horrendous, and dangerous for towing especially campers and enclosed trailers.
