Hey Gang,
So, I’ve got the itch to change out the trailer tires on the boat to avoid any on-road issues.
I have a 2017 Bass Tracker TXW175 (17.5’ boat). Stock tires are 8 years old.
Stock tires: Karrior Load Star - ST185/80R13
Got a quote from a local tire shop… The tires are $100 each and mounting, balancing, disposal is $25-30 each tire.
$400 for the 2 tires & spare. We would take the wheels off the boat and transport.
What brands are ya’ll going with? What prices have you been seeing?
My husband thought it could be cheaper to buy new wheels combined with tires online?
Thoughts?
Thanks!
