So basically since new my JTRD always had a little fluid leak right in front of the transmission. First year I took it in thinking it was oil(since the Mopar trans fluid is so dark) and jeep agreed and pulled the engine out to replace a seal. Welp, that never really stopped the leak but since 1. it was such a small leak and 2. i didn't want to go without my jeep again for over a month I let it go.
A little over a year ago I put the larger trans pan in and replaced the fluid with AMS(which is the normal red) and I've come to realize that the leak all along was from the transmission. Now I think that's a trans heat exchanger(rectangle right in front of the transmission) so I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found an easy solution that doesn't require dropping the trans. A couple times the leak is getting pretty noticeable so I think it's time to deal with it. Cheers
