Almost 12k on my 21 Mojave just started vibrating and sounding like an exhaust leak when I have it in park, neutral, and drive but not in reverse very noticeable seems to be coming from directly under the shifter and drivers seat taking it in Monday just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue no drive ability issues btw

So is the transmission acting wonky or is it an exhaust leak?

Is there a whine present coming from the same area? Have you pulled an oil sample at temperature before 122F to have a Blackstone labs analysis done?

Does the vibration occur during manual down shifting?

I had slight shimmy down shifting and an ever present whine starting at 20k kms and transmission catastrophic failure at 32k kms. Here’s my two analysis reports from my transmission oil I pulled. (24k and 32k kms)

If you’re not sure what you’re looking at, The nail in the coffin is the trace of glycol. This glycol is introduced AT THE FACTORY ASSEMBLY. It is what caused the transmission to come apart, plug the screen to the pump, starved the bearings of oil which then came apart is chunks and filings that lay at the bottom of the pan.

Interesting. I once had a Subaru Legacy that under the right conditions would accumulate snow/slush between the exhaust and the body and cause a horrible vibration.
