I have this issue too....Since day one but it was super super rare when I first got it. Fast forward to now and I notice it every day, well, the days I actually use my carplay. It doesnt have any issues when I use bluetooth or anything else. Just appleplay and android auto. I'm going to have my dealer take a look and show them the various videos I've recorded of it happening and hopefully they can fix it or replace the head unit.
Please let us know via private message if you decide to have your dealer look into this. We would like to have this documented and have a case escalated in your behalf so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution.I have the same thing happen... & I can without a doubt say IT IS NOT A CABLE ISSUE... I know this because I dont use a cable for CarPlay. I have a cplay2air adapter so I am not physically connecting my phone to the truck at all which means its definitely not a cable issue. I actually figured it was an issue with the adapter, but it wasnt a big enough issue for me to physically plug my phone in. The fact that all of you using a cable are seeing it too makes me feel better about this overpriced adapter I use.
