I bought these 33 " LT285/70R17 Federal Courigia's (made in USA per the sticker on them ) off Amazon. Here's link to them: //www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LYMHP6A/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They were $624.00 after tax, with free Prime shipping. Looks like the price has gone up slightly, they were $145 when I bought them. Had them installed for $80 on the factory wheels and so far so good. It's a stripped down Sport with no other modifications and so far there's not been any rubbing but I've yet to go off road. I'll check back in after I've put some miles on them and givey my impressions.

Would love to hear what you think about the noise. I was considering those as well.

They aren't loud at all right now but in the Amazon reviews some people mentioned it gets louder after a few hundred miles. I'll report back but for now I can cruise along at 75 and still hear the radio and have a conversation without shouting lol. The speedo is now off by approximately 2 mph per my GPS on my phone. Other than that it's not that different. One thing of note is that the guy who installed them said he had to add 7 oz. Of weight to one of them to get it balanced. He said the other three were fine.

It's looking good, I'd rather have the black steel Sport rims than the S ones. I bought my last set of tires for my LJ on Amazon, fast delivery and no problems with them tire wise. I'd like to change mine over to a MT or H.D. AT tires but I'm doing to much HWY commuting 5 weeks ownership over 3000 miles.

Thanks, I drive mine to work and back 45 miles each way on the highway 5 days a week. These have knocked my average mpg down from 18.5 to 16.2. Noise still isn't a problem, even with the soft top.

Chet. I well know that my drive in is 53-57 miles depending on traffic and route I take. Something I found out driving up to meet up with someone here for a swap out. The OEM 245 tires throw the odometer and speedometer off with 4:10 gears reading faster than actual speed by a 1-1 1/2 mph

Looks WAY better than those stock pizza-cutters. Never understood the appeal of a non-aggressive tire on a 4x4 vehicle or truck. Even 2wd trucks benefit from aggressive tires, and makes them not only look 1000x better, but more useful and go more places.

With the long wheel base on these Gladiators the factory tire offerings look stupid. I think 33's should come standard on the Sport, Sport S, and Max Tow, and 35's standard on the Rubicons...Personal opinion.
