I just had a issue with updating firmware from "tazerjl-11.4.4.zfw" to the latest firmware "tazerjl-11.4.6.zfw". Issue was, while driving and advancing the throttle past about 50% I started having no throttle response, the Jeep went into limp mode. I cleared all the codes three different times and the issue persisted. Wondering if anyone else is having this or a similar issue. I rolled the firmware back to "tazerjl-11.4.4.zfw" and all the issues are gone. Pedal Commander has the latest firmware.
Codes:
P1514-87
U113B-00
P2127
U0168
Uo401-00
I did find a video on line that gave me a heads up to this issue with the Pedal Commander. It seems that Pedal Commander uses current from the "TPS" throttle position sensor to power the Pedal Commander. If the TPS sees anything below 4.7 volts it may go into limp mode. So far rolling back the firmware fixed this issue. Anyone else have this issue when using the Pedal Commander? I did put in a ticket with ZAutomotive about this issue. I like the Pedal Commander for off road, by dialing down the settings I can have a much less responsive throttle. This really helps me when I am on really rough ground since I have very little feeling from the knees down.
