I wanted a factory look without the hassle of managing cords and dash/cup mount holders.

Timeline:
Remove Center Console: ~10 minutes
Ship, convert and return to me: 10 days
Install Center Console: ~20 minutes

Does the CarPlay still work with the wireless charging?

I believe you need an adapter for wireless CarPlay - something like this:

I don't have this solution, but I'm considering the upgrade.

I use a Qi charging pad in my center console with a CarLinkit wireless CarPlay adapter, and it all works fine.

Haha yea I was referencing the leather vs vinyl. I personally dont care for leather much.

but this consol piece is dang near selling me. My only real concern would be leaning on the console to adjist my seating position or something. Id hate to mess it up

Curious how this connects to power? Is it just plugged into the USB in the console? My wife has an Insane Audio head unit that has a fast charge cable and wondering if it would wireless fast charge if hooked up to that.
