Uppers vs Lowers....control arms

If you could only do one or the other...which one is more crucial for a lift, geometry, pinion angles, caster, etc?

In my mind the uppers give you better adjustability and function. But I admit I don't know jacksquatshit about offroad suspensions so far.

So what say you?

The first set I replace is lower fronts. Not with an arm with an OE type Clevite bushing .. The lower ones hold the axle in place. With the axle held in place more securely with a bushing like a Johnny Joint it cuts back on steering correction while driving, Thats my choice and naturally adjustable arms. I like Core 4x4, MetalCloak duroflex or RockJock. The rest of the arms use what you like but I personally use Metalcloak . Same with thack bars use something solid . I use JJ's in track bars for the same reasons to, eliminate unwanted axle movement and permit plenty of the axle movement that is required
