Used Gladiator Prices

Hi,

I was looking at used Sport S models and the prices for these used are still crazy high. Do y'all think within the next year some of these will come down as more are on the road with higher mileage and once the 2021s come out? Most are all above $37,000.

I leased my $39K Sport with a 76% residual value on a 36 month 10K mile a year term. If you do the math, FCA is predicting the car will depreciate about $3120 a year on average. This trend follows the Wrangler which has historically outperformed the RV. Compare this to luxury brands which depreciate 50% or more in 3 years, and I think this is a good thing... but I would not be expecting sub $30K Gladiators anytime soon.

Makes sense. Seems like they are holding their values really well. I guess how low they are having to go to sell the new ones on the lot will have something to do with it too.

If FCA continues to offer strong incentives, I would consider a new model over a used one since the used prices are on the high side. I have to believe these incentives are going to continue and possibly even get better now that the plants are back online and dealers will be receiving inventory to further clog their full lots.

They hold value great! KBB trade value of my Overland was almost as much as I paid new.

That is a good price. In my area there are a few Sport S with convenience package, tow package, aux package, hard top for around $38,000 - $39,000. I would need to do around $35,000 OTD.
