Selling my JLUR tomorrow because I have more use for a truck bed at this point. BIG question, what would you do? Here are my options if I make the move this weekend:

Used LE with 16k miles. It's certified and comes with the 100k mile warranty. $56,500.

Brand new Gladiator. Sticker is $60,030. Has everything the LE has except forward facing cam, aux group, cargo management group, adaptive cruise, headliners, tonneau and of course the rims and leather on the dash. Dealer is willing to come down to $54,000 on it. I'd prob get the 100k warranty for $1800 and a tonneau. Maybe the headliners. Other things are nice to have, not must have.

Thoughts?

Hard to say. But I’d probably do the LE since it has 100k warranty. Are you planning to keep it past that? You would be getting more for less. Have them check to see if it was ever brought in for issues. Previous owner may have been trying to get out from under it. If not, that is the way I would go. I’m loving the front camera and adaptive cruise. Added a front camera on my JK I liked it so much.

I would struggle paying the same for used as you don’t know the history. I am ok with used for a sizable savings but at the same price for just a few features I would rather new. I will however say in Northeast traffic I love having adaptive cruise.

56500 is too high, IMO. Camera and switches are must haves, for me anyway.

If you are willing to order/wait/travel, then that 60K truck becomes 52, with exactly the options and color you want.

Good luck.

Agree 56 is to high. There was one here that sold recently after sitting a few months for 52 with less than 10,000 miles
