Venturous Topper Installed

Picked up a Venturous Ozark topper yesterday. I went with the orange interior for better visibility, didn't care for the black (apparently there are five color options). It includes a power block that has two USB ports plus you can wire lights into it. Came with RhinoRack tracks on top. 1500 lbs static roof load capacity, 750 lbs moving. All for around $4200. Weighs only 125 lbs.

It was in stock in Loveland Colorado. Only had to wait five days for the install and it took about 90 minutes

Pricey, but probably the best option in the paint matched category. I've been looking for real world reviews on them and there aren't any.

Venturous is having a nice sale at the moment. Hitting up a dealer this week to possibly finally punch the trigger since I missed the launch exclusive discount by a day a few months back!

I ordered one from Knox tops in Knoxville TN in late February, they said 6 to 8 week lead time then. It still isn't in.

oh, and just a note, the current ones being ordered including mine and OP's have a two latch old style closure on the back window, NOT the single handle rotary style that you see in the youtube videos. They told me that new latch style won't be available until July timeframe. I was a bit bummed, but the launch exclusive discount was too good to pass up.

Big topper guy, and I'm really digging this one. It looks to be very well designed.

I was the first U.S. recipient/reviewer of the JT RSI SmartCap, and I have no regrets at all running it (still absolutely love it), but if this was available when I was shopping around in early-2020, it may have been a real contender, depending on the price point.

I've got a Smartcap and have absolutely loved it. Looking to sell the Smartcap if anyone on the forum is interested as I'm trading in the Gladiator. I'm in Atlanta. Cap is in excellent shape and currently outfitted with a 54x74" Rhino Rack which has also been a game changer.
