I’m a retired soldier, and now serving the Army as a civilian. Veterans Day has special meaning to me, and am disappointed how all our National holidays have become so commercialized that the original meaning is lost.
To all my fellow service members, active or no longer in service, God Speed, thank you for your service in these turbulent times.

My father was Air Force, Uncle and cousins were Army, former active duty Marine myself, brother was Navy and my youngest son currently serving in the Air Force. Oldest son was active duty Army and contracts as an instructor for them. Our family has love for all branches and veterans. Thank you for your service!

It's good to be among friends. Prior USAF and my oldest is AD USAF. I get to hug him next week for the first time in 2 years.
