ahh —-okay, that’s a great spot. So behind the back seat! Hope it all works out! Please keep us posted.
This is the Dual air kit version of our ARB compressor mount, in case you had not seen it.

No answers for you but thanks for reminding us of other long standing possible solutions for on board air. They have been around a long time. https://www.viaircorp.com/oba
Oh yes, I had ViAir Constant Duty systems in my last two JKUs and my wife's F150. Great system, just larger and more work needed for good mounts.

I really hope my 450 P will fit. Its a bit larger than the 450c as it has a handle. If I was closer I'd bring it by for testing!

I’m in the process of mounting my 450C right now. I think I’ve got a pretty great idea for it. I’ll share once I test it out.

Do you run a tank with this setup? If so, where did you place it?
I believe I have at least one customer who mounted a tank under the truck in the rear seat area. Most do not run a tank with the ARB as it is not needed.

I ran a Kirby belt driven compressor on my TJ with a 2.5 gallon tank and could run air tools very easily with the set-up.
I’m currently running 2 Viair pumps and 2 2-gallon tanks on my JKU for ARB’s, air horn, and tire inflation for 37’s. Have a set of Hornblasters that I haven’t installed yet as well.
I was gifted a twin ARB from my nephew and like the Mount for Behring the rear seat - although I may remove mine to make a platform for the dogs like I did in the JKU as well.
Just used to having the tank, I guess.

If using the lower Goose Gear seat delete the Behind the Rear Seat mount still works great. The higher seat delete covers the cubby area. Though, you could probably still mount the Behind the Seat Mount to the Goose Gear plate.

Alrighty, I finally finished mounting my Viair 450C.

I didn’t want it in the engine compartment because of heat, I didn’t want it in the cabin or mounted to the body because of noise, and I didn’t want it exposed in the bed to prying eyes. After lots of looking around I found there’s about 4 1/2” of space between the rear crossmember the spare tire holder is attached to and the bottom of the bed.

I rotated the legs on the non-piston end 90 degrees and used an extra right angle 8020 bracket that I had to mount to one of the holes on the piston end (that mount can’t be rotated around. It’s only held on at 3 mounting points, but it’s quite solid. All of the mounting holes on the compressorlegs have anti-vibration bushings installed. One of the bolts goes through an existing hole in the cross member and I drilled holes for the other two.

I then ran a hose up to the round hole right behind the rear-most bed tie down and mounted a quick disconnect there. The intake filter is mounted up high in the driver’s side taillight

It’s high enough to avoid water in all but fairly deep crossings (not that that matters, the 450c is sealed) and completely protected from impacts and debris by the spare tire.

Power is run from Aux 2 (rated at 40A) through a Viair 90 PSI on/120 PSI off pressure switch, as I will be adding a tank eventually. The pressure switch is rated for 30A and the compressor draws 23A max, so no extra relays were used.

Pictures below!

Anyone with some decent fabrication skills should be able to whip up a bracket to fit that space pretty easily, and avoid having to drill like I did (getting the holes right took a lot of measuring as the surfaces aren’t flat). There’s even space between the front crossmember holding the spare and the rear axle that would probably allow mounting two similarly sized compressors if someone were to make a bracket. Pic of that space below.
