Violent shudder at 85mph

I’m on the turnpike heading to work. I regularly hit 90 on my 20 minute commute. I have cruise control set at 80mph. I speed up to 85 to pass a truck and the wheel starts shaking and the whole care shudders as if I had a front tire blow out.
I start to veer right and slow down to come to a safe stop. I get to about 30mph still shaking and I tap the gas a bit to avoid getting hit by traffic behind me and the shuddering stops. Instantly know it’s not a flat.
Seemed fine fine so I got back to 85. Same thing. So I limp to work at 60mph.. checked her out and nothing seems out of the ordinary. But something is definitely f’ed

Sounds like Death Wobble

Did you change anything related to the Wheels/Tires/Steering/Suspension?

Swap your tires front to back, cheap and easy test you can do in 10 minutes.

If you have changed nothing and have been driving this route and speed for awhile, time to take a wrench to EVERYTHING in the front suspension to verify tightness. If you find nothing or don't cure the problem, switch tires front to back. If that cures it then you have something wrong in the tire that was in location of wobble.

The car is dead stock. I’m taking her to the stealer in the morning. The suspension guy is waiting on me. But I’m going to test her tonight after the rain and traffic die down. Very very weird occurrence.

ok, gotta say it, 90MPH and you're worried about a wobble? Hell, you're lucky the entire thing didn't fall apart. Jeeps are governed at 96MPH so you're pushing it's limit every day.

I have a buddy with a CJ on 40's that does 80mph all day. And before today she handled like a dream at the same speed. I mean I regularly hit triple digits in my ///M..that's what its for. So I don't really need to push the Jeep..I just drive fast. But never had an issue till today.

Driving slow on Florida Interstates is not an option, unless you want to get run over or run off the road.

I had a JK with 37s and beadlocks, I could cruise at 90mph on the interstate. No issues. A few times I've had the speedo pinned at 100mph. Again no issues. Your Jeep isn't going to catastrophically fail if you go over 90mph...
