I was strongly considering the Armory model. Glad I went with the Overland instead. Only had my Black Rhinos a few months, but so far no issues. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be checking them closely before my warranty runs out. Here is a thread on the black rhino topic: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/black-rhino-armory-arsenal-wheels.16945/
Thank you for the link Doug, I'm going to check out other options, I'm really liking the Warn's as well. Here is a thread on the black rhino topic: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/black-rhino-armory-arsenal-wheels.16945/
Great wheels. I almost pulled the trigger on those exact ones. After going back and forth on whether I wanted to run the 37s on the stock wheels, I have decided to buy wheels.
Warn Epic Jackhammer in Gunmetal - 17x8.5 diameter, 5x5 (5x127) bolt pattern, 0 offset.
Reason being...
- I love the look of these Warn Jackammer wheels.
- They are 1" wider which is a big part of the decision for low psi runs.
- Makes it easier to sell the takeoffs as a tire/wheel package to recoup some of the cost.
- Gunmetal b/c it's not the common black wheel look and should add contrast on the Sting-Gray.
Can't wait to put this all together, excited to share when it's time.

I am running 35s. Next time around I’ll re-gear and go 37s. I ended up with AEV wheels. They closely match the wheels I have on my TJ so that’s the only reason. The Warn wheels are definitely sweet. What held you back?
Are you running 35s or 37s?
I was leaning towards Black Rhinos but they are so common and the rust issue brought up by @GtownTX was an easy pass after reading into it on wrangler forums.
Absolutely one of my favorite additions to the JT thus far, whenever I forget to flip it back on after getting off trail it feels like there’s an anchor on the back of the truck.I've had the Pedal Commanders on both of my previous Mercedes-AMGs and it's worth every single penny every single time.
Takes maybe 10 minutes to install, easy mod even for beginners.
When I test drove the Mojave, I noticed there is a bit of pedal travel before she starts to move with some "ummpff" so it was a no brainer to add it to this truck.
These Pedal Commanders are a must-have and will make your truck feel like a sports car off the line and while passing, one of my favorite easy mods.

Those AEV's are awesome and great wheels too, I think 37s come with the "regear at some point" so that is one thing to be willing to do, it'll come at some point.I am running 35s. Yeah it's pretty amazing what such a simple and easy mod can do, it eliminated that slight lag on the boosted Merc's so even if perceived, the pull was instant.Absolutely one of my favorite additions to the JT thus far, whenever I forget to flip it back on after getting off trail it feels like there’s an anchor on the back of the truck.
Also, and you may just not have included it in the pic, you’ll need a security bypass cable as well as that OBD module to make changes with Jscan. I can find a link if you don’t have one.
Great thread, those autolynx quick disconnects have moved to the top of my list.
For sure good to go, same cable I got. Hope you get delivery soon, can’t wait to see what you do with the truck!Yeah it's pretty amazing what such a simple and easy mod can do, it eliminated that slight lag on the boosted Merc's so even if perceived, the pull was instant.
