I have a 2022 Gladiator with roughly 29k miles. I have a 2.5" AEV lift with 35" tires and have regeared to 4.56 to accommodate the tires. These are the only modifications, the rest of the vehicle is stock.
I have noticed this winter what sounds like a slight lifter tick the first few minutes of driving until the oil temp warm up (95+ degrees). Once it gets warmed up I am not able to hear it. If this does turn out to be the dreaded 3.6 Pentastar "tick", do any of you have any experience with dealerships warrantying things like this? Some people have said these types of mods (lifts, tires, gears) will void the entire powertrain warranty, regardless of if the engine is stock. If that is the case so be it, I am just curious if anyone on here has actual experience with that being the case.
Thanks in advance!
