Today we are inspecting storage bags.
And we will provide a standard tool kit for each pair of front/rear doors. At first I planned to include some allen keys for installation, but then I thought it would be better to send a tool kit. The cost did not increase much, but the installation experience for customers was much better.It increased by about 3-4 US dollars? I guess. Whatever, I think this is a worthwhile investment. And they can also come in handy when you're working on your car.

Yeah, I didn't expect that at first. My colleague reminded me that I should configure some tools and replacement parts for customers to ensure the user experience.
These things really cheap to me, but for the customer, They sometimes decide whether the tube door can be installed on the car immediately. if they lose a few screws or washers, or don't have the right tools for installation, the experience is drastically reduced. Even if I were to send these items to customers for free, the wait would be irritating.
Our packaging is very bulky so our shipping is billed by volume, in theory I could continue to stuff a lot of stuff into the packaging but the shipping charges would not change
So why not just include these things from the beginning, the cost will be slightly increased, the price will remain the same, it will make installation easier for everyone, and maybe it will bring more orders for me, and everyone will benefit!

I don’t know how many deposits you have versus what you have in production but I’ve seen a lot of vendors lose sales over people not getting updated on shipping or production delays etc. So if your initial production is lower than your deposits it might be nice to post a list or e-mail blast letting people know where they stand in terms of production and wait times. Just a thought

I believe he did say they will be shipping at minimum pre-orders plus extras. It's really hard to figure out how much extra to ship though.

Sorry for the late reply, we recently went on a trip and filmed a video.
Yes, predicting sales is a very difficult thing. We are neither Amazon's low-priced products nor a big brand in the United States, so other people's historical sales have limited reference meaning for me.
The factory is currently repairing the tube door that I found to be defective during the last quality inspection. I am expected to go there again on May 10th. If there is no problem, we can arrange shipment to the United States. If there are still some problems, I will send the ones that pass the quality inspection to the United States first to ensure that the delivery will not be too late.
If you want to know our progress, we have received 10 orders now, and I have prepared 50 sets in the first batch, of which 5 sets are electrophoretic only and 45 sets are matte black. (I took a matte black set for the shoot, so there are only 44 sets actually)
As usual, we need to place an order for at least three times the quantity of goods. one batch for sale in the US warehouse, one batch for shipping to the US by sea, and one batch for production in the factory. Tube door sales will only be good in the summer. I'm not sure how long these 49 sets can be sold, so I haven't prepared too much, but based on the current orders, the inventory should be enough.

The tube doors look good, now you throwing in the extras is great. I'm not in the market for them but definitely wanted to comment on the appearance of them and that your trying to package everything in one stop to go. A long time back I made a set of tube doors for my Wrangler, what a pain in rear that was. I damn near bought a tubing bender after that. I probably would have if the metal suppliers where I lived would have been more cooperative on supplying smaller quantities of stock.

You may notice that there are some scratches or traces of use on the tube door we photographed, because we have been taking this set of tube doors for testing in various environments. In order to show real usage, I did not find a new set of clean tube doors to take pictures.
