I'm shocked (no pun intended) that the shocks on a Max Tow would be destroyed at 25k miles. Do you do a lot of towing with it? In any case, I would think that the Max Tow would have upgraded shocks, springs and other components as compared to a standard Sport/S.

On my '99 TJ, I got about 8 years on the OEM shocks, put on Rancho 5000's, and they are still on there nearly 20 years later. Not a leak.

I hope the OEM shocks (the red ones) on my JTR last last longer than that. I hope Stellantis just doesn't paint the standard shocks red and make you feel that you are getting something better.
My "Max-Tow" shocks gave upway early, but I tow and or haul a substantial amount of miles. My LJ is on 4th set of shocks also.

I just think I need to start doing some of these things myself in the driveway! And use the labor money I would of spent on a better made "part".
I'd pass on getting transmission flushed but a fluid and filter changed is worthwhile. I just did mine on Sunday... nothing like the not started in over 24 hours and transmission over 90° parked. I definitely should have done it a long time before. 😳
