What are these dimples for?

Got the decked system. There are evenly spaced dimples in the top. Are they intended for cargo T-rails? I'd like to use it for that purpose. Anybody know or done it?

That was my suspicion but hoped it was for a purpose.

Yes sir, not on my Jeep but on my last truck with DECKED drawers. Worked like a champ

Could also be markers for the Decked Slider that can install over the drawers.

Call out in the user manual. Those mark the frame rail positions. If you need to mount something, drill along the line of dimples.

So they’re duck mount markers. Good to know.

User manual? What's a user manual? (JK, but the only thing I got was the install instructions and there's no manual on the website)

I also emailed Decked customer service. Here's what they had to say:
ME: " I'm considering doing T-rails cargo rails for the top. I see there are dimples in the smooth-straight spaces that go all the way front to back on these. Are those dimples intended for that?"

Customer Service team: "In short, these dimples are not going to be intended for something like this. However, while not fully intended for this, I believe that these dimples should still line up with the metal supports underneath the panel. We can't recommend doing this since it would require drilling into the system, but unofficially this would likely be your best bet.
That being said, since we don't recommend drilling into the system, I am not fully sure if the dimples still do line up with the supports and I would use caution when doing this."

I believe its for the seafoam cover that is optional. I have the Gen1 so a little different than yours.
