Yeah, I REALLY like the rail - but it was like - here's a bow, the package will arrive later, you can put the bow on it then and wait a month or three until you open it.@AllMoparParts.com

The housing material doesn't matter, it's the fact that that unit sourced from where-ever had issues.I would love to have a free steel steering box shipped to me to replace my aluminum one. It should have been steel from the factory IMHO.
Yeah my steering is great, I figured if I could get a steel one for free, why not LOLThe housing material doesn't matter, it's the fact that that unit sourced from where-ever had issues.
There's a lot of 2020s driving around out there with the stock suspension and the original steering sector.
It's only when you take things outside of the engineered parameters, bigger tires, hefty lifts, and so on that will stress it beyond what the housing would handle.
It's when you get into "heavy duty" that you will find the cast iron or steel housings.
Otherwise, steering today is a mix of aluminum, cast iron or steel - depending on the strength needed.
A stock light truck or even mid-size truck would do fine with aluminum - until modified beyond what it can handle.
Up until a few months ago, a number of JT owners here were still on the stock aluminum housed steering gear.
Any help on this would be appreciated@AllMoparParts.com
Any chance you know if there is a way to order the wire that runs up the passenger side of the soft top? Looks like my end came off.

Hi Trent,Hey Benny, I need a replacement plastic cover piece for the drivers side of the hardtop. The cover that goes over the electrical plug in for the rear defrost. I was driving with the doors off and must not have secured it in properly or a weird gust came it and blew it out of the truck. Thank you!
I think that part is the one on the body trim panel. I did some googling. Its this one. I used the part number to search it on your site and bought it this morning. Thank you!Hi Trent,
I believe this may be the cover your looking for?
