Hey Benny - any idea what this part is that appears to be leaking? This is the 3.6 gas engine, passenger side right under the oil dip stick. My google guess is a "crankshaft position sensor" ?

That is the variable valve lift solenoid.

Hi Rob,

It is a VVL solenoid as Don mentioned. Chances are its not leaking but the seal is, This can be found here https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem...side-4893803aa?c=bD0xJm49U2VhcmNoIFJlc3VsdHM=

They are the same for both sides.

It should be.
Be sure to clean out the sealing area - ensure no debris or grit to get into the new seal, and as I was taught doing automatic transmission rebuilds decades ago, and do with seals in all sort of other places - a thin wipe of petroleum jelly on the seal will make it go into the recess without binding or rolling the seal. Installing dry can roll seals or o-rings.

I am sorry but Jeep does not offer these. I would measure the holes and order some generic plugs from Amazon.

Take dash off and pop speaker covers off ,tape off the windshield ,sand it then paint it
