Hi Todd,
It fits. These need to ship truck freight at $450.00.

Benny, I'm looking for a block heater and cord for my 23 diesel gladiator rubicon.
I'm finding part #68523853AA as the right number. Can you tell me if this is right and perhaps a savings code?

Thanks, Tim (in Texas)

Hi Tim,
We offer a kit here https://www.allmoparparts.com/sku/jljtengblkhtr30.html

I will send a code you can use,
- Benny
Thanks, when looking at that part and part number (JLJTENGBLKHTR30) it looks like its different than the one I sent in my original message (68523853AA).
Both say they fit my vehicle (23 diesel 3.0 gladiator), one looks like it snaps in (per YouTube vids), and the other (the part # you sent me) looks like it screws into the water jacket which means I would have to worry about refilling coolant and getting air out of the system.

Can you please clarify what the difference is between these two.

Thanks, Tim

Unlike the older style of block heater, my 2023 has a brass socket on the engine side that requires a plug heater. It was a very easy install. The plug pushes into the socket and is secured with the built-in clip.

part #68523853AA (block heater)
part #68535072AA (cord)

Thank you, I will check my engine tomorrow and see if I have that same brass plug. I think it is on the passenger side of the engine. Did you go thru the wheel well or were able to get to it from above? I'm getting it for this winter.

I took the photo of the plug from the wheel well, but I can't remember if I installed from the wheel well or from underneath. I just remember removing the wheel and it being fairly easy to do. The hard part was figuring out how I wanted to run the cord. Here's the final product:

Hey, Benny - I know this isn't 3.6 or Gladiator related, but I am in need of the following parts for a 1994 Jeep ZJ 4.0 engine:

Plug wires,
spark plugs,
injectors.

I know I can go to a parts store to get the spark plugs, but their wires are cheap universal fit and I want the proper correct fit (looks better for show and the factory wires are a perfect fit at both ends and in the holder)

I put a set of reman injectors in it a few years back but I've had my fill of reman parts and want to go NEW, OEM, correct - not "hey, these may fit"

Thanks much!

I've had several of each Grand Cherokee since introduction. The 94 ZJ I bought from another fellow who totaled it and was parting it out as I wanted that 4.0

The body was beyond help but the engine lives on as I rebuilt it and put it in this car.......... yes, this is Jeep related LOL

It's developed a bad miss. It was smooth as glass until this past weekend. I figured the plug wires were original so have about 135,000 miles and 30 years on them, the spark plugs are 35,000 miles and 13 years old. The injectors - well, eBay purchases, supposedly "rebuilt" and we know how that can go. I think the guy did the work at his kitchen table.

I'll get things ordered ASAP - need the car for two more shows. It's too late for the 4x4 event coming up in a few days.
