From the previous post, here is the video of the event. I’ve labeled this “oops”. But it should be called, “my fault, should have turned around”. :)

So after you spent all that time with me on the phone because you were having fun, I knew you were a little nuts. This video just proves my theory. ?
Looks like fun but I don't think I would have the nerve to try that with my truck. Ear to ear grin on your face.

Installed " License Plate Light Cancel/Bypass harness" . Works great , now its much easier to use the back up camera at night . No more being blinded by the License plate lights . Great idea glad some one was thinking . Highly recommend it

It’s a perfectly reasonable obstacle without the snow. I did it when it was stock in ‘21 without issues. I shouldn’t have done it in the snow, but at least I was smart enough to use the winch as a safety chain. :)

Had AMP Powerstep XL's installed on my JT Friday. I have them on my JL daily driver and love them. I had ordered them for the Gladiator a couple years ago and there were supply issues and after waiting a couple of months I decided I didn't drive it enough to justify the cost and cancelled. Last week I decided to bite the bullet and got them on the Gladiator too.

How’d you “fight” through this? I had same trouble
People will say a thread chaser is the right tool for this.
I already had a tap/die set so used that and carefully chased the threads and it worked pretty well.

Been working on a way to safely install a house battery in the bed without punching holes in the bed using only factory holes.
I’ve always liked the Norco styled polymer battery boxes, good vents, can be sized for the battery to be installed and the price is excellent. Needs some bulletproofing for living in the open bed of a pickup though.
One goal on this project was to not run to the metal yards and hardware stores for anything putting this together. Scraps and repurposed metal only.
Had some old Klutch table legs 18 gauge, cut and welded them into a bottom for the poly box. Added a boarder of 3/4” x1/8” angle for bumper protection. Added 2” flatbar for lock and hold down of the poly box with battery. welded a shackle to the box, for connecting and holding to factory front tie down. Also added a 3/8” chunk of horse mat, for longer battery life.
It occurred me during fit up of the new box that my ARB fridge would fit perfectly between the new box and the opposite side of the beds front tie down. Measured the ARBs 4 rubber feet mounting bolts and connect those to the battery box via 2 each 5/8” bolts and another shackle to the front foot mount and the drivers side front tie down.
it’s in there solid, took a wash board road test yesterday with virtually zero movement on the bed pad.

I like the angled co2 mount. I’m assuming You welded that up with some diamond mesh and bolted into trail rail holes? Mine is less elegant.

I almost did full vertical mount, but my bed cover had other ideas

Yep. I didn’t do a 15lb because the 10lb nestled under the bed rail enough to not be too far inside the rail, wasting space. Now that I’m filling my own tanks at home, I’m considering a second tank, minus regulator and handle.

It’s a great system, a friend has several really small tanks, he’s into cart racing…new air lockers front and rear this summer for my jt, already have a manifold for that and it also runs air tools.
