People Work?
Lol. You made me go look. The upper bolt is about a 1/4" longer than the nut.
To think that they would use bolts too short is asinine. Without enough threads they will pull out and strip the nut. I've seen people do that in fixturing and we always give them a ration and tell them to take 2 minutes to get the right bolts.
2023. You should have the new bolt from the factory.

Part shortage stands to reason. Gotta keep that line going. I'm also curious about the number of bracket failures. I was going to look at the mechanics of that but without going out to look I'm thinking that heavy axle articulation can cause the bolt to twist upward enough to stress the bracket into cracking?
I think many of them are associated with setting the sway bar ends down on rocks.

All that weight slamming down on that bracket could do it.
I'm looking at these ones that were posted earlier.
Metalcloak Jeep JT Gladiator Rear Sway Bar Reinforcement Bracket
Those are 1/4" thick so with the bolt I have now it will be long enough that I don't have to go buy a longer set.
That’s what I have on mine. They’re really solid. I’ve smashed my sway bar ends on rocks enough to bend the link a reasonable amount. Zero damage to the bracket.

That looks like enough reason to add the reinforcement before breaking down on the trail.
I did, but I was gonna say this isn’t the sort of thing that will strand you, it’s not preventing some catastrophic expensive repair. Could let it ride and may never need it?‍♂. If it break, then you buy the brackets

Something to think about. Partly depends on how wild I want to get on the trail. Not too crazy but gotta have fun. ?

Something I did just think about is that I would rather reinforce them before they break than have to repair them afterwards. One of those risk management things. I may not know until I'm in too deep that I have a problem.

Yea.. I mean if it breaks you could still probably make it off trail and home. Bend up the bracket and buy the aftermarket ones… may have a broken end link.
Easy prevention but not a crazy hard fix?‍♂.
I just thought, “holy shit this guy mailed me a piece of his broken bracket, I better fix mine first!”?

I really like the orange. My local dealer has a 2023 Mojave with the Jeep incentive for 59K but I still think it's took expensive, especially for a 2023 and it really doesn't have any options.

Mine has just about everything except adaptive cruise and a tonneau cover and I got it for just under 58k about a month ago.

Any write up on how you did this?
Not really no.
This might help with some of the steps, but the cable from amazon came with instructions on what to install where. Then I just drilled a tiny hole in the middle of the plastic dashboard cubby(from the bottom up), sat the USB plate on top of the bulletpoint mount and ran the wires from it down through the hole and connected power and ground to the amazon cable.

I just double sided taped the USB plate to the bulletpoint mount but you can use nuts/bolts to mount it more securely.

On the thread subject of mods / add ones not in today but recently. Added overhead shelf panel in on front windshield to roll bar awhile back. Yesterday wiped down inside of fridge freezer, dust n crud from console area and cleaned shell window seals. Definitely don't need or want to see before pictures on that. ?
Any pics of this shelf thingy?
Looking for ideas for mine.

Got my girl some new tires today, old ones were only 50% down but one had severe runout and I didn’t want to buy just one. So I grabbed 5 Toyo RT Trails in a 37 and she’s back in business.
