You can borrow them free at places like O'Reilly's - just a deposit you get back when you return it.
Made swapping out my front Synergy springs a breeze.
My goal is to never be under this truck again.

Ouch on the finger!

Wondering , did you keep the diesel springs part numbers on the respective side the instruction said or did you swap them L/R since you were putting them on a gas JT?
Nope, I just followed the instructions. I have pictures of the stock setup and the lift, which I’ll post later, but I didn’t do any measurements (i wish I would have). But it looks perfect with 35’s. However, I did buy the Metalcloak coil correction pads, which were great, and their front track bar that did not fit. So I reinstalled the stock front track bar. I’ll have to find an adjustable track bar that fits without having to dremel out the axle mounting location.

I only went with the diesel lift, because the gas lift was spec’d at factory weight without steel front/rear bumpers/loaded down etc. The diesel weighs about 400lbs more than the gas gladiator And with my bed rack, rtt, and eventually steel front bumper/winch it will be at the weight of the diesel, so it should ride perfect.

Hahahah, i know. Wishful thinking.
My feet have been sticking out from under mine more often, the longer I have it. I can’t leave it alone. :)

Cut your losses, figuratively. I have, as an EMT, worked two "loss of digit" with even weirder stories than yours! Both involving a dog at the scene with one who enjoyed a tasty fresh treat.
I’ve worked xray in the ER and now MRI. So we both have seen some shit!

Reason I ask, is that the Diesel springs by part number are positioned to account for the fuel tank being on the opposite of a gas vehicle.

Nope, I just followed the instructions. I'm not concerned about it. I'll have to take some measurement and see if i'm higher on one side in the rear.

The rule had been for years -
Gas - heavier spring or higher part number on the right
Diesel - heavier spring or higher part number on the left

There's several threads talking of this dating back to the first days of the diesel in Gladiator.

The difference is noted with a full tank of fuel (and driver)

This practice started back in the 1960s where most cars had a left and a right front spring to compensate for engine offsets from center, and other factors.
Every parts book I have 1960s through 1980s shows left and right spring part numbers, and I noted it with our Jeeps as well.

When I first bought the Jeep I meant to add RockStopperz, but I was busy buying big ticket items. Well I saw a chip so I added them today. I might pull it off where the chip is and touch it up, but not sure if I care that much.

Installed the the Synergy sector shaft/track bar brace and went with the 'sealed bearing' instead of the greaseable bearing. Took about an hour to do, everything fit perfectly and my Gladiator now feels like I have no lift - tight steering, no wander, drives straight, etc. Amazing! I initially was looking at SteerSmarts, but apparently it wouldn't have worked with my RC track bar. Now I have to do this to my JL.

Did a few small things in the last few days:

  • Wired the chase lights
  • Started to finally wire the bed side lights, waiting on the correct wiring loom
  • Removed the bumper bar to repaint and installed it back
  • Installed the Bushwacker Trail Armor Jeep Hood Guard that arrived today

A few photos:

Chase lights wired and controlled by switch pod.

And testing bed side lights with a 9 volt battery while I wait for the cable to run the connection to the switch pod
