Did you have to change shock length?
Only a little. I added a 2” longer shock eyelet to the rear shocks. I had already done that to the front during the many changes recently.

In this case, it is SDI that offers either “normal”, 1” extended, or 2” extended eyelets for their shocks, so you can adjust droop to your suspension setup. But I’ve seen tons of aftermarket vendors out there that make them extended eyelets. Here are pictures of my front shocks when I was changing eyelets. It’s identical in the rear. Very easy job. Heat gun to break up the red thread locker a little, tape on the crescent wrench to back it off without scratching. Clean up the threads, put new eyelet on with red thread locker again. Like 15 minutes. I like that it does the same thing as bolt on shock extensions, but with no additional fasteners.

I like it too. So nice to be able to make adjustments without forklifting a shock.

In addition to this, they have three internal clip locations that can adjust the stroke and full extension of the same shock body. Mine are already set on the longest length. But you get a much larger range of lifts that you can use with the same set of shocks than you do with Fox for example.

Spent the weekend correcting, claying, and ceramic coating mine.
Last pic is this morning, no sun sadly going to rain next 3 days.

Used Adam's graphene ceramic coating, curious to see how it holds up.

I wanted a more classic look to the front. I put some amber overlays on the running lights/turn signals. Gives it more of that YJ/TJ kind of feel. I also finally Plastidipped the silver sport s wheels. I don’t love the black, but it’s much better than silver for now.

Dumped a bunch of trash at the trash-dumping facility and decided to take a side shot. Personally, I think upgrading steering components and gears is worth adding 40's, they look killer. But then again, all Jeeps looks killer IMHO.

Cleaned the driver rear shock, replaced the eyelet with the 2” extension, and reinstalled it. Loosely though as I’m replacing the lower bolts and they come tomorrow.
