Almost ready to mount the rest the electronics and throw it in the bed! Not a woodworker so this has been a learning experience 😬

I put Rockstoppers Hinge protector's on my door hinges. After I touched them up with the factory touch up paint pen.

The way I'm mounting the tent will be the absolute lowest it will be able to go on this rack.

Even with HD springs? They are for 400-700lbs constant weight. I'll be around the 350-400 mark without all of my gear. I probably will need to run sandbags.
Buy a decked system and Load her up !!

Picked up some reasonably priced clevices from 4WP that match the zinc steel tabs on the new bumper. $20 well spent. Per I think.

Read only? Hmmm.
I think that 20 bucks is CHEAP for quality and the zinc is obvious. The bluish tint, that's definitely zinc.
Damn, those are purdy! And tough, looking. A perfect match..

Thanks. 😆 stupid auto spell. Yeah. I tried some more expensive options and returned them due to fit. These match perfectly and with some tightening don’t rotate unless you pull pretty hard. I tried to be the shackles off guy, but every time there’s a recovery I get pissed if they’re not already attached. So they stay.

Back at discount tire getting the brand new tires from Friday rebalanced. No issue with the tires. A bunch of weight strips fell off. I found two full strips in my driveway and one upside down inside a wheel. I hate using corporate tire shops, but they’ve got a wholesale allocation monopoly with tire rack, so off road shops have to wait a month, and they have them same day. Annoying.
So when I rotated my tires for the first time after purchase, my right rear was making a thumping sound when the wife and I went out that afternoon. I got a couple of houses away and turned around. Took me a while to figure it out but when the tires were balanced, they placed the weight on that wheel where it would rub the caliper as it rotated. Interestingly enough, it didn't rub on the front because apparently there is a hair more clearance. I simply pulled the weights off, moved them slightly inside or out (can't remember which) and glued them back in place. Been balanced with no vibration or rubbing since. Just when you think you've seen it all.

Seriously. With brake clearances on modern cars, you’d think that’d be the first thing they learn regarding the weights. In my case, they didn’t bother even wiping the inside of the wheel. They just put the adhesive right over loose dirt. It’ll be fine. 😆

LOL, I did clean the wheel when I replaced the weights. BTW no word from Bestop yet. Never responded back to be again. Still trying to be patient.

Measured the truck yesterday... unless I get some rear squat out of these AEV HD springs when I get my tent installed I won't be fitting into the garage. I have exactly 10 inches of clearance right now, and the tent is listed at 10 inches high. Wasn't planning on getting a rear bumper, but I might have to now so I can clear the garage door lol
Sounds like a good reason to get a new rear bumper to me. :like:

Are the sizes true? Run large or small? I kinda liked those when I saw them, Just couldn't decide on he best color.
They were sized perfectly. I typically don’t buy shoes online since I always end up returning them, but these fit great in my normal us 10.5. I ordered black. I’m hard on shoes.

Yea I don't have the best luck getting shoes online either. They were a good price so I may have to grab a pair. :like:

Same. And sketchers tend to be comfortable on my feet, of course I’ve only probably owned 2 pairs prior, and it’s been a while. I wore them all day and they were great.
