I've wondered about getting an extra set, bead blasting, then powder coating them. I've thought about doing purple for my wife's JLU and Mojito for my JTI can tell you what I would LIKE TO DO to my Gladiator. I would like to swap out the lug nuts to black but can't land on what I want. Anyone have a suggestion?
Great product. I forgot to remove them from my Wrangler when I bought the Gladiator. I'm an idiot. Maybe in a few months I will pull the trigger again.I installed a set of Apex autoLynx swaybar quick disconnects today. Turned out great and it flexes well for an otherwise stock JTM.

Or air down, great excuse to the spouse for the need to get that new brushless dual motor compressor!I bet he means the WEIGHT will sink the JT further down.
All he needs is for a couple of us to stand on the back bumper as he moves it in or out of the garage.
Great thing about my fiancé, she doesn't care what I spend my money on as long as bills are paid and it s not morally or ethically questionable (and I already have MORRFlate)Or air down, great excuse to the spouse for the need to get that new brushless dual motor compressor!
My wife is the same. As long as things are paid and house projects are addressed.Great thing about my fiancé, she doesn't care what I spend my money on as long as bills are paid and it s not morally or ethically questionable (and I already have MORRFlate)
But, airing down multiple times a day would not be fun. I had to do that whenever I put the tent on the Tacoma, it sucked. It's why I went with a half rack this time so I didn't have to remove the tent or air down, but the lift netted me a little more than expected.
We will see what the tent and some gear does, but after reading some other threads I'm not confident I'll get enough squat to do any good, or at least not enough to upgrade to 37's like I wanted. I may just end up replacing the Rebel rack and build my own a little shorter.
7ft door, so 84 inches, but I really only have 82-83 inches. Rear edge of the rack/enclosure is sitting at 72 inches right now.My wife is the same. As long as things are paid and house projects are addressed.
How tall is the garage door?
What’s the garage ceiling? It might not be crazy expensive to have someone change it to a 7’6” opening. You could likely keep the same door and just adjust how far it opens. Just saying. If you like it the way it is, spend the time changing the door. Probably cheaper. I think it will happen to me eventually.7ft door, so 84 inches, but I really only have 82-83 inches. I have 9ft ceilings. I'd have to look at the door to see if I have any extra room for a larger opening. but IIRC its to the edge of the door already. I have looked at installing an 8ft door with a wall mounted opener. What’s the garage ceiling? It might not be crazy expensive to have someone change it to a 7’6” opening. I certainly get that. The house we moved into recently finally has garage door height I can get into, but if it didn’t, I’d figure out how to fix that. But making your own rack is impressive. Obviously we’ll need pictures so we can live vicariously.I have 9ft ceilings. Honestly if all else fails I'll sell the rebel rack and build my own at the height I need. I'm low key wishing I had just built my own from the start, but I thought the rebel rack was going to be easier.
