Damn you!!!!
Too soon...
I didn't get one, that's just an online photo.

I tried to get that one but wasn't fortunate. Ill take one as a donation if someone wants to give theirs up but not paying for one.
I tried also. Oh well, I'd probably just have given it to my daughter. See loves the original movies, so much so that she'd drive a movie replica vehicle.

I’m on my 6th one in 4 years. Welcome to the crack house.
Wow.
I called the place I normally have do my glass and the girl asked if I wanted the Gorilla Glass upgrade for triple the price. If I start heading for 6, I might go for it. I asked if they do the protector add on but she had never heard of it.

Cross my fingers only on my second one .
Hopefully I can be done, but first one this soon doesn't bode well!

Part 2 of the summer project was adding a front bumper and winch. Lot of back and forth on what style i wanted, size etc. and landed on the Rugged Ridge HD Stubby Front and added the X-Striker bar. Paired it with the Rough Country Pro - 12000 lb winch. Snug fit for the winch but love the new look and bumper quality. Was able to reuse the factory steel skid plate which was a nice bonus.

From what I understand, the gorilla glass might actually break more.

Looking at that now actually, after seeing it mentioned in a thread!
I’ve only had mine since Saturday, so not enough time for a review. But @darksidedesign has had theirs 3 years without a crack.

The reviews I saw on here indicate no benefit to chips and scratches. Maybe some benefit to reduce cracking... maybe.

If I need a second replacement I'll probably get something. For now I'll let it go and then kick myself later for not doing it.

Naw, unless you ask people who don't understand it or Jeep people griping about the cost and the fact that it can still break.
It will actually break LESS - but let someone who has GG suffer a breakage and that's all they bitch about, not realizing that it would have likely broken twice by that time.
I had good chips in my 2022 - no cracks.
I have good chips in my 2025 - no cracks.
I had chips you couldn't even SEE in my 2020 - went through two replacements.
Our JLU had a minor chip much much smaller than my 22 or my 25 have - and it busted fast.

In my experience - it breaks far less and a lot less easily. It will break, but there's a proven 60% less risk of a chip causing a crack.

Nice. We’ll see how well my standard one does with exoshield.

I fly da plane...
Uphill Both Ways - If it's wet, is just nasty. If it's dry, it's still not an easy day.
I took the Jeep club after it and it took 4 hours to get 13 Jeeps through the trail, one broke an axle.
UphillBothWaysEntranceTwo.jpg

Entrance hill climb, wet it would be sloppy. This was mostly dry-ish...
UphillBothWaysEntrance.jpg

Pictures are out of order, so this is the entrance on one side before the sloppy starts.

Tons of fun on the trail, but just know it may look short, but there's plenty there to make you take your time. I'd avoid the squeeze with your rack/topper. I watched a YJ and TJ have a hard time and went around it personally, someone's damaged hard top lies in that spot to warn folks...
Trail? What trail? That's a rock wall! 😂
