Nice, mine's still setting in the box I really need to get that installed.

Did you drill the holes in the front? I think I'm going to don't need any extra bounce/noise.

It takes mine about a half a block to register a change in air pressure or a tire rotation.
I've actually had my 2018 JL take quite a distance and amount of time to reset. In fact, the last time I rotated and balanced, I drove so far with the two rear tires showing low, I turned around and headed back. They updated when I drove into the lot, which was after well over a mile of driving...closer to two miles. The reading made me think they forgot to check/fill them. (Which they NEVER forget or neglect to do @Discount Tire .) That is the longest, by far, I have ever seen them take to reset.

I don't recall my JT ever taking that long. I'm getting it done this evening, so I'll pay close attention to how quickly they update.

I'm doing the rotation/balance tomorrow on the JL, so there will be a back to back comparison.

Side note...I had a TPMS sensor fail in one of the wheels on the JT. DT will be replacing that tonight with the rotation and balance.

Friendly PSA to the diesel crowd.. Saw a video a while back about plugged up pickup tubes in that 100k mileage range. I was due for an oil change so decided today was the day to check it. Glad I did. As soon as I took some cleaner to it oil came back my way! I couldn’t see through the screen at all till after I cleaned it. It’s apparently a thing… make it a point to drop that pan at some point and check it. Cost 15$ of high temp RTV to do it. Cheap insurance to make sure it isn’t starving the motor of its precious blood.

Yep, I have to drive around the block after a tire rotation to get all four corners to sync up. They don't all change at the same time either.

How do you like the Crow panel so far? I'm a Ham and thinking this would be a good spot for a radio mount among other things.
They have 20% off with coupon TSTN at the moment.

Got my billet point mount for my phone. They make awesome stuff. I also installed struts for the hood. Hook is the maker. Easy quick install.

I did my rotation and balance and it surprisingly took 3 miles for two of the TPMS sensors to come on and update and it took a third 8 miles. The fourth one, that was replaced, never worked, so it has to go back to @Discount Tire to trouble shoot. I'm not sure if they simply forgot to program it, the tech forgot to actually change it, or if the new one simply is defective. They are great and will get to the bottom of it, I am sure. I know it isn't the pickup sensor because that tire/wheel moved to another location. The one on its old location is working fine and its signal is being received.

So, my main battery (disconnected the aux) kept draining out after a couple of days.
My son kept telling me it was due to all the lights (?) I added to the Gladdy.
There are no large offroad lights by the way. Now keep in mind it was the H6 battery.
About a month ago I replaced it with a Champion H7 and have not had a problem one.
Start/stop works as usual as does the remote start. I for one am a fan of getting rid of the mini nuisance battery and go bigger. Just My honest opinion.
On a side note I was going to go with an H9 but didn't feel like cutting the battery trey to get it to fit.

Your main battery was on the way out, regardless of size. It was just tired.

Note for the folks with the Badland Apex winch - you will need to do some trimming to get these to fit.

My winch apparently isn't centered as I had to only file some on the left side piece (driver side) but had to do more cutting into the end of the right side (passenger side/US) piece.

I made them fit with the winch, put tape on the bumper parts that need to be drilled (thick lay to help hold the bit from wandering) and used a small bit to get a pilot hole, then opened it up with about 1/4" bit, pulled the tape, painted the raw edge of the hole front and back, and then put the filler pieces in place.
(Thanks, Benny - they work fine)

I didn't want to mess with bolts and screws so did the same thing Jeep does to hold half of the JT together - you'll recognize those "Christmas tree" retainers going into the bumper steel.

Really had to trim this one to clear. But too hard to move the winch over, would have to pull some things apart to get to the bolts and - with needing to drive tomorrow for Friday 5:30AM check-in at the hospital for surgery, I didn't want to mess with it. Few will ever notice - especially with those cables in the way!
