Rear end lifted, when do you finish the front? Looks like Clayton control arms.
It's a Clayton 3.5" Overland+ lift. Hopefully going to finish front end this weekend. I got the rear end done last Saturday and it took me all day. Have never installed my own lift before so I was learning as I went. I had never installed a lift before and the front seemed harder than the rear and I didn't think I could do the front in one day, and I didn't want to leave it sticking out of the garage all week while I was at work.

Today I removed the wire rope from my 12,000# ZXR Badland winch and replaced it with 80' of synthetic line and hawse fairlead.
Hooked up to a tree after 6 wraps were on drum and pre-tensioned the line.

Had way too much uptravel (8"ish) and only 4" or so of down travel on the rear shocks so put the shock relocation brackets back on.
One way to measure shock travel is to remove the the lower shock bolt, letting the shock fully extend.
Here we can see I was getting a little more than 3" of down travel. Bare minimum if that for road driving, and not acceptable at all for off-road driving.

With the relocation bracket mocked up I can see that it's now going to have roughly 6 in of down travel and the shock has a total of 12" travel so with the relocation bracket it will be an even split (6"/6") up and down which is ideal.
This can also be worked out on paper.

Bump stop spacers will go in next before the trail gets hit in a serious way.
Also put in Teraflex bumpers on all four corners to give a little extra cushion for the... y'know.

Did you keep the cable to use in recoveries?

First mod - wireless android auto.
Got all the parts to hide it like I did in my wrangler, now I just need to finish the install.
For some reason when I hooked my phone up directly(wired), it just kept throwing errors that my device wasn't supported, or there was a problem with my device or something. When I plugged in the AAwireless device it spun right up though.

Most of the guys seem to just connect it in the center console usb and 3m it to the side of the storage box. Totally out of sight and might save you some time trying to hide it and free up that dash usb.

I had it there for a while, didn't like it. Was concerned with stuff banging into it. I hide it behind the dash, so the USB port it's plugged into now will be free.
I use this guide:

This is an idea of what I saw someone do on Youtube. The Youtube guy put it on the side with 3M right near the usb. Just a thought to save you some work! lol

Might not be that bad with a very short L shaped USB cable. Could Velcro it right next to the USB port. I don't use that port for anything else, but I'd like to keep it available just in case.
Thank you for trying to save me some work though :) always appreciate that!

I installed new rear shocks to control the bouncy ness , and adjust when towing my camper. These are good for 0-1.5” suspension I’m not going any higher than that on this Jeep.

Exactly which ones are they? And can we get a review on how they compared to what you took off, and what did you take off?
