Got mine back yesterday, had it regeared to 5.13. Shout out to Marcus @River City Offroad for doing the install (Dana Spicer 5.13s), along with some Teraflex HD ball joints. I dropped off my JTR with him last Sunday (he's about an hour away from me), and picked it up on Saturday. Marcus did a great job - I recommend anyone in the greater Austin metroplex to check him out.

It has been a year since I did my AEV 2.5 Dual Sport lift, and going to 37's. I stayed on the factory 4.10's for a year, and by and large found they were livable, provided I didn't go anywhere with significant elevation changes. 7th and 8th only showed up if there was a breeze at my back, or I was going downgrade. The 5.13's definitely transform things in a very positive manner - I'm happy with the upgrade. In the ~100 miles I've driven so far, I have 7th and 8th back. I'm still in the break in period, so no hard launches, but definitely feel the difference off the line.
Marcus did work for me as well. I second it that Marcus does a great job.

Installed a Fumoto oil drain valve right before I changed the oil. I used a vacuum cleaner to draw negative pressure (taped the nozzle to the fill neck) on the crank case while I removed the stock drain plug and installed the Fumoto valve. Not a drop of oil- completely dry while I swapped it.

Then, I proceeded with the oil change, using the new valve. Wow, I should've done this earlier. It was the easiest, cleanest oil change I've ever done. The only oil that dripped a bit was when I changed the oil filter.

I really like mine. Have had to clean some valves so they would stop deflating at the set pressure, I think the used tires I started with got some gunk in there.
I also have a hard time loosening them so 3D printed some wrenches to help. I like the wrench vs the knob, little bit more to turn with and my latest version3 the handle is short enough not to hit the spoke so I can just twirl it off with my finger when it gets loose. (Caveat: do not know if split nomads will have less clearance for wrench handle)
If you don’t have a 3d printer you can have a service print it for you.

Would you be interested in selling the printed version on your wrench?

It’s available for free here. Not sure if you’re asking me to start a business? I don’t think the revenue is worth my time, so I made the design available and posted printing services people can use.

Thanks for the reply! Now that I clicked on the links, even I think I could figure it out. I got a little scared of technology and I may have been showing my age!

^^^^ Why wouldn’t you just remove the oil drain bolt, drain the oil then install the fumoto?

Why all the trouble?
It was actually no trouble at all. It took just a couple minutes to tape the vacuum hose to the oil filler neck. Changing out the drain plug with the Funoto prior to draining let me drain directly into the empty container instead of draining to a drain pan and then transferring to an empy container. Saved a few rags and paper towels for clean up. Next oil change will be even easier.

Sorry I wasn’t sure what you were asking/implying.
Yea my local library has a printer?‍♂ but I also tried the CraftCloud service from that all3dp.com site and it was pretty easy to order something.
The library was like $2 and a PETG wrench shipped from CraftCloud was $17, I’d gladly pay the $17 for that tool.

I had the the rear locker sensor replaced on the Mojave today under warranty. Once they got it into the shop, was done in about 50 minutes.

Added rain guards. I'm one of those drivers that likes to have my windows open just a bit. Past vehicles always had the type of rain guards that got stuck to the door frame over the windows. My current Gladiator has a wrap, and I didn't want to stick anything to that. These in-channel rain guards are perfect:, they are very subtle and the level of transparency is great.
