I needed to remove the ridge on the Larsen NMO with a Dremel and make a new bracket for my Rough Country Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover.

Installed my 8.4 and removed the 7, installed the Boom Mat leather look headliner, and unfortunately took off the sunrider and put the freedom panels back on for winter.

Installed my Boom Mat in white.

I did not use a decibel meter before and after installing however it is definitely quieter as in I use to listen to my radio volume at 14-15 now I set the volume at 10-11.

I can now hear my wife talking while I drive…so I guess you have to take the bitter with the sweet?

Drove mine to the dealer so the wife could try out a '24 Wrangler Sahara. Unfortunately she drove a Volvo XC90 earlier so the Wrangler was "super loud" at highway speeds. Thought for sure we were finally going to have an in-sync garage :/

The beauty of hearing aides. Turn them up or down depending on what you want to hear.

After a year of ownership and lots of trails, I finally got it stuck. To make matters worse, we were on an unplanned "snooze cruise" with our son and infant so I didn't bring any of my self extraction gear. Luckily this mud hole was close enough to the road so the local wrecker could get their incredible IH Loadstar close enough to yank me out. On a positive note, the wife suggested we get a winch!

Decided to add a dead pedal. Was kind of on the fence not sure if it's a good idea or not. But it was on sale for $14.41. I figured I couldn't go wrong. Its built well! I watched a few videos it wasn't as difficult as most people mentioned. I'm 6”4” so I put it on the last adjustment and the nut ends up in front ?. I also used double sided tape on the screw bracket so it wouldn't fall out into the wall of the Gladiator. A 6 & 8 inch extension, 10 millimeter wrench and socket. 10 minutes later done. I did double nut, so I don't have to bend like that again! Time will tell.
For those looking behind the curtain.. the bolt on the brake pedal is part of my ready brake tow system. I drag her behind an RV.

Gave it its first windshield crack. Took 2.5 months.

I prefer that over it hitting an inch lower and chipping the paint. Crack is already a few inches bigger over 24 hours later, mostly just sitting.

P.S. the ducks are from Greater Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion. Easy to build a collection fast when in Jeep country.

wife has the xc60 plug-in hybrid. It’s amazing. She and you will love it. It’s a great compliment to the JT. Fast, quiet, low fuel consumption.
